Metro's machinery is consciously built to be solid, heavy duty, and totally suitable as needed for short or long term production. No new machinery is built without due regard to previous customers' proprietary interests.

Metro's machine building protocol is based on over 50 years of experience designing and building custom equipment systems capable of operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Metro systems can consist of a single machine or a multi-machine complex.

As necessary, Metro can integrate equipment supplied by others into Metro built Machine systems.  Metro  specializes in continuous motion assembly equipment but is fully experienced in packaging equipment, automatic taping machines, process machines, indexing motion, linear motion, pick and place machines, robotics and the like. From this framework, Metro has developed a proficiency using FDA approved materials and high quality commercial items such as servos, ultra-sonic equipment, U-V devices, feeding systems, ink jet printing and sophisticated control elements. Almost all Metro built machines utilize computers and/or programmable controllers and feature displays to illustrate performance and fault data. Metro's Control Engineers are accustomed to in-process inspection, video camera parts monitoring, high speed process control, laser technology, and management information systems.

Metro realizes that our supplying quality equipment only partially sets us apart from other custom builders. We believe our business strengths are that we listen to our customers, we match our equipment operation and maintenance requirements to the abilities of the using plant and we support - without question- our equipment during and after start up.
